Sylvester joined the Bar in 2019, following an illustrious career in the retail sector spanning close to four decades. He held senior executive positions as General Manager and Local Director within one of South Africa’s leading retail groups before venturing into entrepreneurship in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, where he established and operated several successful businesses.

Sylvester’s fascination with the law has grown with the realisation of how the law permeates through all aspects of life, from cradle to the grave.
