Shweshwe is a dynamic legal practitioner with over a decade of experience in litigation, commercial law, employment and labour law, administrative law, and alternative dispute resolution. She is a member of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates and currently practices under the Bridge Group of Advocates.
Her legal journey began in 2012 as a candidate attorney, progressing to director at Madiba Motsai Masitenyane and Githiri Attorneys Inc., where she led numerous high-value and complex matters across public and private sectors. She was admitted as an attorney in 2014 and later transitioned to the Bar, completing her pupillage at the Johannesburg Society of Advocates in 2024 and 2025.
She holds an LLB from the University of Johannesburg, a Higher Diploma and Master’s Degree in Labour Law, and various certifications including Prospecting and Mining Law, Practice Management, and Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution. In 2023, before joining the bar, she completed an Advanced Program in Alternative Dispute Resolution with the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa. She is a registered Mediator who practices in this field.
