Prior to being called to the Bar in 2017, Ntombi was admitted as an attorney in 2014. She served her articles of clerkship at Adams & Adams Attorney’s Intellectual Property department and passed Intellectual Property law specialist exams under the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law. She thereafter joined Bombela Concession Company where she participated in a vigorous career development programme culminating in her being promoted to Commercial Manager position having obtained various certificates in Construction law and Master of Laws degree in Commercial law.
In her practice as an advocate, Ntombi has represented Companies, State Organisations and Individuals in Commercial litigation matters, Employment law matters, Intellectual Property law matters, Administrative law matters, Electoral law and General civil litigation matters. She has also presided over disciplinary, grievance hearings and conducted investigations for major mining companies in South Africa. Ntombi has also appeared in Constitutional Court alongside senior Counsels. She is also a certified AFSA Mediator.
