I was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court

On the 7 May 2015 and subsequently commenced my membership under the Johannesburg Society of Advocates on the 1 December 2015.

I am also a member of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) NPC as from July 2022.

Through my seven years at the Bar, my practice has anchored itself in Construction law, Mining Law, Marine & Environmental law, Commercial law, Aviation law as well as Administrative law and Banking Law.

Being in my eighth year of practice, I have run various applications, trials, urgent matters for broad clients, such as the SIU, Anglo American, Samancor, Rustenburg Platinum Mines, Minister of Police, IDC, ABSA, BMW and various Departments and other commercial and private clients.

I have dealt with various investigative work and have authored various investigative reports. In addition, I have acquired experience in adjudication and arbitration proceedings.

I had been appointed as an Evidence Leader at The State Capture Inquiry as from January 2019 to its conclusion, wherein I had dealt extensively with forensic legal work, Procurement, Aviation law, Administrative law, International and Commercial law.

I have undergone Intermediate Advocacy Training in 2018 and Advanced Advocacy training in January 2022 through the General Council of the Bar of South Africa (GCB). Also, having successfully completed and trained as an Advocacy Trainer through the GCB in September 2022.

I have also obtained my Prospecting & Mining Law Certificate from the University of Witwatersrand. I am also a certified Mediator and been accredited by the University of Cape Town.

From 2020, I have occupied a seat as a Trustee on the University of Johannesburg’s Board. I am a trustee on the Humelela Employee Trust, and have been invited by Stonehage Fleming to provide services as a Consultant when necessary. As from March 2023, I was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Index Fund Manager, 1nvest.

And as from January 2023, I have been appointed by the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and The Environment as a Member of an Appeals Advisory Team, to advise on matters relating to the Marine, Coastal Management, the National Environment and the Promotion of Access to Information Act.

I am active member of the Bar, having held the following positions:
