Luyanda joined the bar in 2022 as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, following a fulfilling career spanning 22 years spent in the private and public sectors in South Africa. She previously plied her trade as a Management Consultant with blue chips like Accenture, Eskom, SARS, and later in boutique consultancy firms. She consulted in business process reengineering, business architecture and systems integration. She further spent years in entrepreneurship in minerals and petroleum industries.
Luyanda’s fascination with the law has grown with the realisation of how the law permeates through all aspects of life, from cradle to the grave.
Luyanda’s areas of interest and practice are inter alia, general motion work, commercial disputes, competition law, administrative law, government procurement law, constitutional law, trade law, matrimonial law and criminal law.
Luyanda is fascinated by trial work, and no doubt this will dominate her practice.
