Irene De Vos was admitted to the Bar in December 2009.  Irene holds an LLB and LLM from the University of Pretoria and an LLM from Leiden University. Before coming to the Bar, she clerked at the Constitutional Court for Chief Justice Langa and later worked for a leading public interest litigation group focusing on extraordinary renditions.  Irene also clerked for the Chief Justice of Kenya and has acted in the High Court.  Irene is a certified mediator and her practice tends towards general public and commercial law matters, including, in particular, constitutional law, administrative law and housing law.
