Fundile has a well-rounded legal background. Before his call to the bar, he practiced as an attorney in the labour & employment law, commercial litigation, and corporate & commercial departments.
Fundile has acted as a Judge in the Labour Court. He has also represented clients in the Labour Appeal Court, Labour Court, High Court, Magistrates Court, at the CCMA and other tribunals, as well as in internal disciplinary hearings. He regularly chairs disciplinary and grievance hearings, and workplace fact-finding investigations.
Fundile is a skilled communicator and a versatile legal professional. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSc) in Law and Political & International Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), both from Rhodes University.
