Chiara Louis was admitted to the Johannesburg Society of Advocates in 2017. She holds BA and LLB degrees from the University of Stellenbosch and was ranked as one of the top students in her graduating law class. She also holds an LLM in public international law (cum laude), specialising in international and regional human rights law, from the University of Leiden. Prior to joining the Bar, Chiara gained experience at local public interest law organisations and international human rights bodies. Chiara acts at all stages of litigation and arbitration as well as undertaking advisory work.
