Anathi is an admitted advocate of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates. Before joining the Bar, Anathi did articles at Equal Education Law Centre where he provided legal assistance mainly on issues pertaining to the right to education. Further, Anathi clerked at the Constitutional Court for Chief Justice Maya and Justice Rogers.
Anathi obtained Bachelor of Arts at Rhodes University and Bachelor of Laws at University of Witwatersrand. Anathi’s practice tends towards Constitutional Litigation, Contractual and Company Law disputes, Administrative Law, Mining Law, Regulatory Law, Labour Law, Competition Law, and General Commercial Litigation.
